Im Kooperationsprojekt Greifen Begreifen
mit dem Türbeschlaghersteller FSB untersuchte ich das
Phänomen der Archetypen und ihre Bedeutung für Gestaltung
und Alltag. Als Analogie zur Türklinke diente der Archetyp
„Boy meets Girl“. Mein Ausstellungsdisplay gliederte das
Thema in die drei Aspekte Archetyp, Idee und Realität und
griff die Dreiecksform der historischen Displays des
FSB-Workshops von 1986 auf. Für die visuelle Kommunikation
entwickelte ich aus dem von Otl Aicher gestalteten
FSB-Logo ein modulares Icon-System. Es wurde als Leitsystem,
in der Ausstellungsbroschüre, auf Plakaten und in
Animationen für Social Media eingesetzt.
In the collaborative project Greifen Begreifen
with door-hardware manufacturer FSB, I explored the
phenomenon of archetypes and their significance for design
and everyday life. The “Boy Meets Girl” archetype served as
an analogy for the door handle. My exhibition display
structured the subject around three aspects—archetype, idea,
and reality—and drew on the triangular form of the historic
displays created for FSB’s 1986 workshop. For the visual
communication, I developed a modular icon system based on
the FSB logo designed by Otl Aicher. It was used for the
exhibition wayfinding, in the exhibition brochure, on
posters, and in social media animations.
